Yearbook Photos and Quotes
- This year we’d like to invite you to consider doing your senior “quote” as more of a message of farewell and gratitude to your fellow peers, friends, staff, and family. It might include a note of thanks, a fond memory, gratitude, or shoutouts to friends, coaches, counselors, teachers, etc. You may also incorporate an actual quotation from somebody or something, properly attributed.
- Most importantly, whatever you submit must be in keeping with EWHS’s core values of becoming leaders of competence, conscience, and compassion. Warriors strive to build a better world. Please note that anything inappropriate will not be published and may result in disciplinary action.
Senior Dedications (aka, Baby Ads)
-
Keep in mind that in the program we are using for the yearbook, senior dedications are called ads, or senior ads, and the terms are used interchangeably. Senior dedications are due February 16th
-
Payment for the page itself
-
Full page price: $140.00
-
Half-page price: $85.00
-
Quarter page price: $57.50
-
-
Payment to submit the ad: $1.50
-
(The $1.50 fee is separate from the cost of the ad itself, because that fee goes to the program used to make the yearbook (Varsity Yearbook), while the payment for the page itself goes directly to the Edmonds School District.
-
-
Digitally, through the InTouch Payment System
-
Select “Yearbook Senior Dedication”
-
You may also pay via a check made out to the Edmonds School District. Bring the check to the ASB office. If you design a dedication but do not pay the price for the page itself by February 15th, your dedication will not be put in the yearbook.
-
The EWHS order number is 16914
-
There is a $1.50 fee you pay when you submit the ad.
-
Press continue after verifying you have the selected the correct high school.
-
"Continue" leads you to a web page, press “start your ad”
-
After pressing "start your ad", you are given 3 options for size. Select the size you plan on purchasing.
-
After pressing on the size, a pop-up will appear on your screen asking for whom you are making a dedication, select student/teacher.
-
After selecting a student/teacher, provide your child’s name as listed on Skyward in the boxes provided. If the website cannot find your child, select add name.
-
After adding the name, the pop-up will disappear, and you must scroll slightly down to the bottom and press continue.
-
If you have not created a dedication before, create an account (you can delete it after you have submitted an ad).
-
Once your account is made, there will be choices given to you on the templates for your ad. Select the template of your choosing.
-
Once you select the template, you will be led to a design workspace where you can add photos and a message.
-
Make sure to add your student’s name.
-
When you access the workspace, there is a sidebar that gives you the option to add photos from your device’s files.
-
Make sure that your photos are the highest quality possible and check for any spelling and grammatical errors.
-
The yearbook staff is not able to edit your ad once submitted so if there are mistakes, we cannot change them.
-
Once you complete the ad, press continue and follow the directions.
-
Pay the $1.50 fee for submission.
