 8/21 9:00-9:45 meeting in stadium, return for practice 3:00-6:00
 8/22 3:00-8:00 ( Dinner at school)
 8/23 3:00-6:00
 8/24 9:00-2:00 (lunch at school)

First Day of all other Fall Sports:  Monday, August 26th

Girls Soccer--all practices at Former Woodway High School (until school starts)

All remaining practices until school starts 3:00-5:30 at FWW

Before the first practice athletes must have completed:
  • All 3 Rank One Sports Forms (informed consent, emergency information, eligibility questionnaire)
  • All forms available online :  https://edmonds-schools.rankonesport.com/
  • a current medical physical examination (must have a hard copy on file at athletic office)
  • must meet previous semester requirement, having attempted 2.5 credits 2nd semester of 8th grade (5 classes)

Additional note about online paperwork: Students Entering from a private schools will need to submit hard copy forms (available in office) since names will not show up in the rank one system until school starts.

Summer Athletics

All Edmonds-Woodway students, including incoming freshman, are welcome to participate in any summer opportunities in athletics. Students must have a signed copy of the Summer Activity Packet in order to be cleared to participate.

Fall Sports Information 2019

Before the first practice athletes must have completed:
  • Eligibility Paperwork   
  1. All 3 forms on Rank One Sport (RankOne Sport). 

  2. Must turn in a hard copy of a current medical / physical examination (if not on file). These are valid for two (2) years.

  3. Informed Consent form - this must be submitted for each sport you plan on turning out for:
WINTER: Basketball - Wrestling - Boys' Swim - Dance
 All forms should be submitted via Rank One Sport, 3 days prior to the first day to be eligible for practice on the first day. 
  • All EWHS fines must be paid.
  • Previous semester grade requirement: must have attempted 2.5 credits.
Before the athlete competes in a game or contest, he or she must

1)     Purchase an ASB card ($50).

2)     Have passed, or be passing, five full credit classes. If a student is taking summer school to replace a failing grade, he/she must take the exact same course in order for it to replace the grade and count toward eligibility. 

3)     Pay the Sport Participation fee  - $100 per season. **If a student-athlete qualifies for free and reduced lunch, his/her Sport Participation may be waived. Must provide Athletic Secretary with the letter from Food Services. 

ATHLETIC OFFICE HOURS: Summer hours vary starting August 19, 2019
September 3: Monday - Friday:  8:30 am – 3:00pm 


 WIAA Contracts/Forms:

 Students must complete the appropriate form prior to participating if involved with Running Start or any schooling alternatives.
