NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
Current Members - Make sure to be checking our Canvas Class often! That is the primary way I will communicate with you.
New Members/Interested Members -
You will be invited to join based on your eligibility at the beginning of second semester. There will be further information and guidance to come via email!
Interested in joining NHS? You must be a current sophomore, junior, or senior to be eligible to join NHS. In March, look for an email from me inviting you to join our organization. The invitation will be based upon your end-of-semester one cumulative GPA which must be a 3.5 or higher to join. If you qualify, you will be emailed a Membership Application inviting you to join. You MUST return the completed Application to Ms. Milstead to be considered eligible for NHS membership. Official conferring of membership occurs at our Induction ceremony in May.
All new NHS members are required to:

Complete the Membership Application

Pay a one-time membership fee of $5 to our ASB Office

Consider purchasing our student-created NHS t-shirt

Complete two hours of service work

Attend our Annual EWHS Spring Clean-Up
-
Attend our Induction Ceremony in May in which the official Conferring of Membership takes place and students recite the Membership Pledge and sign the official NHS Membership Register
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Wednesday, March 17th--Full Membership meeting to discuss the service requirement for the 2020-2021 school year.
