What is Architecture

Architecture is more than just what a structure looks like. Architecture form and function defines a building differently than its surroundings. Architecture shows relation between the interior and exterior environments. The designer is the one who decides as to how that relationship will connect. Architecture shows how we have become more technologically advanced and shows the change in our methods of construction. The progression of architecture reflects on how we have become knowledgeable in this area over time. Social issues also have defined architecture between different countries and cultures throughout the world. It often reflects a cultures social structure, both economically and philosophically. It is the one thing that represents many aspects of society.
