Tech Prep Dual Credit

Tech Prep Information
Tech Prep College Connections:
Tech Prep is a career development dual-credit program in which students can earn community college credit for completing articulated high school classes, usually within a program of study.  These credits accelerate the students earning their post- secondary diplomas, degrees, and certificates.
There is a $46 fee for the credits.  The $46 fee covers all tech prep courses taken during the school year.
Students should register for the class at the beginning of the semester. Payment is then due in January for 1st semester classes, and in June for 2nd semester and year-long classes.
To earn Tech Prep credits, students must enroll in a Tech Prep class at Edmonds-Woodway, must earn a B or better grade, must register with Tech Prep during the semester enrolled in the high school class, and must pay the $46 fee.  The $46 fee applies to all courses beginning in the 2017-18 school year, but is a processing fee, paid once, not a per-course fee.
Tech Prep credits result in significant cost savings for students.  Students earn community college credits for free, and those credits can transfer to other community colleges and in some cases to four-year colleges and universities.
