From mid October to mid November, high schools across the state host events to assist students in the application process. The goal of the campaign is to ensure that all members of our EWHS senior class have the opportunity to apply to at least one 2-year or 4-year college or university program.
EWHS is pleased to coordinate the following activities and events:
- College Application/Essay Brown Bag Lunch Workshops with Admissions Reps on October 31st and November 7th during both lunches in the Career Center.
- College Representative Visits throughout the Campaign
- EWHS College Planning Night - October 19th, 2017 from 5:30pm-8:30p
- College Bound Scholarship Meeting in November
- Seattle College Fair Field Trip on October 27th
- Visits from Edmonds CC during Advisory and Lunches, one time per month

Most of our local ESD and community scholarship applications will be made available beginning November. Most are due in the Spring. Seniors should plan to stop by the Career Center frequently in the Winter and Spring for the latest news on scholarships and for hard copies some of the applications. Prior to November and December, students can research State and National scholarships on Fastweb, The Washboard and other online databases. Students should also check the Financial Aid or Scholarship Page of the website of the College they are applying to. Make sure your college applications for specific colleges are submitted in time to be considered for scholarships.
EWHS Senior Scholarship Application EWHS Seniors should plan to fill out the purple EWHS Senior Scholarship Application and optional Financial Resources Supplement. It is available in the Documents section of Naviance. Hard copies are available in the Career Center. Complete and turn in to Mrs. Lipscomb in the Career Center. Our school is often asked to nominate students to apply for scholarships and we use these applications to create our pool of students for consideration.
