Facilities

The Architecture studio is designed to simulate a 'real world' workplace that includes 28 inpidual workstations with computers and layout space for sketching and plan reading. Computer software includes AutoCAD LT, Autocad 2010 Design Suite, Civil 3d, Inventor, 3d Max, Adobe, Google Sketchup and High Speed Internet. The studio is also equipped with black/white and color printers, an HP500 designjet plotter, a projector for presentations and display space.

The Architecture library
consists of over 100 books on various subjects from technical illustration, urban planning, sustainable design to biographies of famous architects. Our video library includes DVD's of Philip Johnson, Louis Sullivan, Frank Lloyd Wright, I.M. Pei, Richard Mier and Frank Gehry. In addition, students can peruse issues of Architecture, Architectural Record, Progressive Architecture, Architectural Digest and other magazines related to the design and engineering professions.

The Architecture gallery flex-space contains an area designated for model-making and display. It is also furnished with chairs and tables for casual lounging and conversation. We are located in the northeast corner of the campus in the C100 pod adjacent to the EW library and Career Center.
